Our labor rate per hour is $50 for each and every hour onsite or at our location, with a minimum of one hour. After the initial
hour, we will increment additional time in 15 minute intervals.
Many times we can fix your computer over the phone. See the section on this page listed "Phone Charges".
Each item addressed will determine the approximate time onsite. If you plan questions and write them down prior to our
visit, then your time will go much quicker. Note too, that we will explain every thing we do to your computer so you will
know exactly what we are doing and why, unless YOU ASK US NOT TO.
Generally, if it looks like it will take many hours to address a perticular situation, we usually will take the computer
to our office and using high speed internet will redue the entire computer (format and reinstall all software back to factory
condition) and do all the updates and charge a FLAT RATE.
An example of this would be:
You have an HP Pavillion and the CD restore will not work after your hard drive failed. You have the restore cd's but
you can't get them to work.
We would try the installation again just to see for sure that the cd's are the problem or if it is something else wrong
(possibly a bad cd player). We do find that cd #3 is bad. We then would order new cd's. When the new cd's arrive the next
day or so, We would reinstall them and do all necessary updates (just updating from XP SP1 to SP2 can take a hour). Install
the virus protection, all necessary drivers, spyware detection, setup your email and online carrier. Test everything and charge
you the actual cost of the cd's which might be about $25* and the flat labor rate between $100 to $200 depending on the unit
even though we spent more than 8 hours actually working on your computer. This is all possible because we are not sitting
at your home or office watching your computer downloading components and updates. Especially if you are using a conventional
modem and not high speed.
At our office, we will be able to do many computers at once saving you money and saving us time.
Please note that in the above example, that your drive has already been erased and reformatted from prior attemps to install
and no backup is possible at this time. In your case, you might need your data (music, photos, bookkeepping and email) backed
up. See the "Backup" section of this page for those prices.

PHONE CHARGES
If the product you are calling about is under warranty through us, there is no charge for the phone call.
Otherwise, once we establish that we can help you with your problem, the clock starts. As soon as the diagnostics begins
or as soon as we start troubleshooting your problem you will be charged by the completed incident. In other words, if your
modem is not working and we walk you through it and it is now working, this would be a completed incident. We will not charge
you if we cannot fix the problem on the phone. If we cannot fix the problem on the phone, at that time, we will make an appointment
to come to your location or you can bring it to ours for completion.
COMPLETED INCIDENTS ARE CHARGED IN 15 MINUTE INTERVALS.
THE RATE PER INTERVAL IS $12.50 ROUNDED OFF TO THE NEAREST 15 MINUTES. CHARGES ARE PAID VIA CREDIT/DEBIT CARD AT THE CONCLUSION
OF THE CALL. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUCH A CARD OR FEEL THAT YOU DO NOT TRUST THE PHONE LINE YOU ARE CALLING FROM, THEN YOU CAN
SEND US A CHECK TO THE ADDRESS BELOW.
